Our senior football and hurling managements have announced their captains for 2018. Crosserlough’s Dara McVeety will captain the footballers taking over from Killian Clarke while Ciaran Brady (Arvagh) has been named as vice-captain.
The footballers begin their Allianz League campaign this Saturday 27th with an away trip to Clare. Throw in is 2pm in Cusack Park, Ennis.
Meanwhile, Anthony Sheridan (Mullahoran St. Joseph’s) has been named as senior hurling captain. The hurlers have been working hard for the last couple of months under new manager Michael Carr. They return to league action this year after a seven year layoff having competed in last years Lory Meagher Cup. Their first game is Sunday week 4th February 2pm in Kingspan Breffni when they host Sligo.
