Cavan County Board are very saddened to learn of the tragic deaths of the Hawe family in Ballyjamesduff. We express our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families, friends, Castlerahan GAA and the entire Ballyjamesduff and Moungnugent communities at this time.
Cavan GAA is liaising with the GAA Community & Health department, the HSE, and other local statutory services to ensure a coordinated and appropriate response is put in place to support our members. We also encourage anyone affected by the issues raised to speak with their GP or to call the GAA’s official mental health partners, Samaritans’, Freephone helpline on 116123.
