Traffic / Parking Information for Armagh v Galway

Cavan GAA welcome our friends from Armagh and Galway GAA to Kingspan Breffni and Cavan town this Saturday.

We would suggest that supporters use the 1350 FREE parking spaces available in Cavan Town as follows:

  • Main Street, Car Park (240 Spaces)
  • Multi Storey Car Park in centre of Town (400 Spaces)
  • Lynton House / Library Car Park (250 Spaces)
  • Courthouse Car Park (350 Spaces)
  • Bridge Street, Car Park (50 Spaces)
  • Connolly Street, Car Park (70 Spaces)

All these parking areas are 5 minutesโ€™ walk to the stadium and patrons can enjoy all that Cavan Town has to offer on their way to the game.

For patrons travelling from Armagh the easiest routes to access Cavan town are to exit the N3 Cavan Bypass at either the Ballyhaise Junction R212 or at the Cootehill Junction R188 and follow the Match Traffic signs into Cavan Town where the Parking Areas will be clearly identified.

Parking for Armagh Buses will be along the Dublin Rd. between Tractamotors and the ALDI roundabout

For patrons travelling from the west, we suggest that having passed through Ballinagh, you exit the N55 at the Cavan Bypass (R935) and continue towards Cavan Town. There will be parking along this route as you reach the town.

Parking for Galway buses will be at rear of Texaco on the Ballinagh Road.

There are 300 car parking spaces at the rear of Kingspan Breffni however access to these closes at 5.30 pm to allow for Pedestrian access – we would encourage patrons to arrive early and to utilise these facilities.

We hope all our visitors from Armagh and Galway have an enjoyable visit to Cavan and Kingspan Breffni.
