The Sensory Room at Kingspan Breffni has specifically been designed for children with sensory processing issues, offering them an ideal facility from where to watch matches in a quiet, comfortable space. The room itself has been supplied by Kingspan and is located on the town end of the Eastern Terrace in Kingspan Breffni. The Sensory Room offers a full unrestricted view of the pitch, creating a safe and controlled environment to watch games, with optional addition seating available outdoors for those who want to experience the match close to the crowd.

This dedicated sensory area which has been very welcomed by our All-Star families will be in use throughout the playing season on matchdays, with advance booking necessary. Details of how to book will be released shortly. The Sensory Room was constructed and fitted and decorated in record time, with many trades people going above and beyond to complete this project within 6 weeks.

Cavan GAA would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to Kingspan who sponsored the structure, for their continuous long term support and for providing the opportunity to have the opening on their Kingspan Ambassadors Day, the clubs who supported and contributed to the project, the many trades people who ensured that everything was finished to the highest standards possible, and the volunteers who gave freely of their time to ensure completion, the Cavan GAA All Stars and their families and Cavan GAA Health and Wellbeing committee for leading and developing the project.

The Sensory Room received funding and was supported by Sláintecare Healthy Communities Programme and Sport for All Grant Fund.
