Cavan GAA

There was a great turnout last Saturday morning for the Project Healthy U 5K in Kingspan Breffni. It was a very enjoyable experience for all who took part over the past seven weeks. While it provided exercise, it was also a social occasion as refreshments were available after each session and it provided and opportunity for people to relax, mingle and have a chat.

We thank all who gave excellent presentations or demonstrations & all who helped in any way in organising the first morning. 

We are very grateful to all sponsors & groups who came on board to support this initiative.

Huge thanks to Kieran Callaghan, Anne Fortune & all the committee for coming up with the idea of Project Healthy U.

Special thanks to Peter & Sabrina Walsh who went beyond call of duty in organising the runs and refreshments afterwards.

We encourage everyone to keep it going: There is a new Run, Walk, Jog starting this Saturday 9.30am in Kingspan Breffni and continuing every Saturday morning until 6th April. There is a nominal once off €10 registration fee. Further details from Peter on 097 103 8202 or any committee member.
