Cavan GAA express sympathies at passing of Patrick Bannon

Cavan GAA would like to express our sincere sympathies to family and friends of the late Patrick Bannon. Patrick passed away tragically following an accident on Sunday evening last.

Patrick (Paddy) was a promising young hurler and was a very well respected and valued member of the Cavan Senior Hurling squad for 2017. He had previously represented Cavan at minor and U21 level and helped setup the minor hurling panel in 2011 was a leader in ensuring its success both on and off the field. Patrick was a member of the Ballymachugh team which won the senior hurling championship in 2013.

We especially remember his parents Patricia and Pat and all his family, Ballymachugh and Castlerahan GAA clubs and his many friends at this time.

Reposing at his home in Derrylurgan, Ballyjamesduff on Wednesday 1st Feb. from 4pm until 8pm. House private at all other times please. Funeral mass on Thursday 2nd Feb. in St Josephs Church Ballyjamesduff at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Clares new cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Diabetes Fereration of Ireland care of any family member.
