Cavan Academy & Development Squad Update
Last Saturday saw the Under 13 Development Squad along with the Under 14s and Under 15s Academy Squads in action in Kingspan Breffni Park, this Saturday 26th Nov follows on and will be another busy day for all three Cavan Squads.
The Under 14s will train from 9.30am to 11am while the Under 15 Academy Squad have an important trial game afterwards from 11.30am to 1pm both on the 3G Pitch in Kingspan Breffni Park.
Players should remember to bring all the appropriate gear with them and are also reminded of their punctuality. Members of the Under 15s should take particular note that their attendance at this trial game is crucial for any potential involvement in next year’s squad.
Last Saturday saw the trial phase of the Under 13 Development Squad continue with half of the clubs in the county coming in for a series of games. This Saturday – from 1.30pm to 3pm – the remaining clubs will come in for a similar format of trial games.
This follows on from a very successful series of trials over the Halloween mid-term break (pictured). Players are reminded to contact 087-287 5939 if they can’t attend – unexplained absences could impact on a player’s ability to make a squad.
