Cavan GAA mourns passing of Eddie Brady

January 18th, 2019 | News

It is with a great sadness that we learned of the passing of Edward (Eddie) Brady of Urney Ballinagh. Eddie was a true gentleman with a fantastic knowledge particularly on GAA matters. Eddie was a remarkable community man and volunteer holding many roles in various organisations. He held the positions of County Board Treasurer from 1976 to 1980 and PRO from 1981 to 1985 and held numerous roles on the hurling and camogie boards over many years.

Eddies funeral mass takes place tomorrow Saturday 11.00am in St Felim’s Church, Ballinagh, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. All in Cavan GAA extend our sympathies to Eddies relatives and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
