safeTALK training 1st December in Kilnaleck

Please see details of safeTALK training night that will take place in the Crosserlough GAA Centre on Thursday 1st December 2016 from 7pm to 10pm.

It is highly recommended that at least 2 club members in every club should undertake safeTALK training as part of the Health and Wellbeing Programme.

The training would be most beneficial to all Club Health and Wellbeing Officers, Club Children’s Officers and also Club coaches.

Please note that the completed forms of those taking the training must be emailed to gerrysoden@eircom.net by Friday next 25th November as they have to be sent to the HSE who are providing the Tutors for the training night. Each person that undertakes the training will be given a certificate on the night certifying the completion of the safeTALK training course and also a safeTALK Resource Book.

Cavan County Board GAA would to thank the HSE  for their help in putting the training night together and in particular thanks to Emer Mulligan, Resource Officer for Suicide Prevention HSE Cavan Monaghan Mental Health Services.

It would be the intention of the Cavan GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee to run a further safeTALK training night early in the new year at another club location in the County.

For any information contact Health and Wellbeing please contact Cavan County Board GAA Health and Wellbeing Officer Gerry Soden on 086-2724180 or gerrysoden@eircom.net.
